Bathroom Remodeling - Sample Resources

Bathroom Design
Some of the new inventions in bathroom design include ultra-thin electric floor heating systems that are installed under tile, body spa—customized showering with multiple water jets—or a system that will slightly warm your mirrors so they remain crystal clear despite the steam. Besides these luxuries we'll introduce you to many other ideas such as the proper lighting, the length of a perfect bathroom or how to remodel a bathroom if you have limited space. Website offers information about bathroom ideas, bathroom design, bathroom remodeling, bathroom floor plans and layouts and small bathroom design.

A Bathroom Makeover
This bathroom had been "modernized" by a previous owner. The room was stripped of its wood moldings, fixtures and built-in storage; mainly, it was stripped of its charm. The previous owners installed chilly, pure white sheet-rocked walls, bare-bulb lighting centered over new chrome medicine cabinets and harshly contemporary pedestal sinks that provided little space to place even a can of shaving cream or razor. The sinks' chrome faucet sets had hospital-style handles, and severe wire shelving held daily essentials for all to see. Luckily, though, the previous owners left the beautiful paneled door and the original claw-foot tub in place. The new owners were looking to create a more friendly and soothing space. Here's how we achieved their dream bathroom. The site has spectacular before-and-after photographs of the bathroom project.
